I recently sent out a email to everyone talking about how family sessions can be difficult given that kids are not always in the mood for photos. This session was absolutely the exception to that. Eve was an absolute angel the entire time! James and Piper brought a rabbit with them that they got 12 years ago when their relationship first started that Eve has now claimed as her own. Kids tend to do that right? Nothing is yours anymore….

This was a session for the books for obvious reasons. It’s backlit, it’s golden hour, it’s hazy, and everything was just working for me. Plus, James and Piper are great people who I just clicked with right off the bat. Photographers: have you ever had those clients that you just click with? You can just tell that if you had met under different circumstances you’d still be friends?

James… Piper…. you two were amazing to work with and I’m sure that we’re going to be more friends than anything at this point.
