Kayla and David’s engagement session was a very impromptu situation given that David is in the military.  However I am so glad I got to work with these two- especially David!  The reason I was so excited about David is because most guys are not a fan of having photos right?  Normally what I hear is “she told me to be here at 6:00 PM so I’m here” which is completely fine.  David on the other hand was a total trooper!  He was in it to win it, wanted to be there, and had a fantastic attitude about the whole thing which you can see in the photos.

Kayla of course was loving David’s attitude and you can see how happy she is in all of her photos.  That smile of hers was not staged or prompted- it was 100% genuine!  Kayla recently asked me to shoot her wedding day and I was so excited that she did!  Our location for these photos was the Pearl Brewery in San Antonio, Texas which is a great location for the difference in backgrounds and scenery.  Thank you so much Kayla and David for letting me capture your special day!  I will see you October 3rd for the wedding!
